Community Hall Renovations Update

Exciting things are happening at the Lodgepole Community Hall! We’re making great progress on our renovations and can’t wait to share the journey with you.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been busy prepping for painting — washing all the walls, repairing imperfections, and carefully mudding to ensure a smooth finish. The hall is already looking refreshed, and we’re getting closer to adding that fresh coat of paint to brighten the space for everyone to enjoy.
But painting is just the beginning! In the coming weeks, we have more upgrades scheduled, including:
- Replacing some doors for improved security and appearance
- Repairing locks throughout the building
- Roof and ceiling repairs to address wear and tear
- Painting the exterior stairs to protect them and give a fresh new look

We are incredibly grateful to Brazeau County for providing a matching grant that is making all of these renovations possible. Their generous support, combined with community fundraising and volunteer efforts, ensures that our hall will remain a safe, welcoming, and vibrant space for everyone in Lodgepole and the surrounding area.
I’ll be posting pictures of the mudding progress so you can see how things are coming along. Be sure to check back often — we’ll continue to post updates as the other repairs are completed.
Thank you to everyone who has supported these renovations through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer hours. This is truly a community effort, and it’s wonderful to see what we can accomplish together!
